Enterprise-grade IT, sized for the business next door.
Data Directory Solutions Limited is a UK technology company providing IT support, cyber security, networking, repairs, CCTV and technology supply to organisations and households across London, Essex and the wider UK.
Home / About
The standard shouldn't drop because the company is small.
Large organisations get properly configured systems, monitored devices, security baselines and someone accountable for keeping it all running. Smaller organisations usually get whoever is nearest the problem, a folder of forgotten passwords and a plan to sort it out later.
Data Directory Solutions was set up to close that gap. We bring the way things are done in enterprise IT — documentation, security defaults, proper handovers — to businesses, charities, care homes and households that could never justify an in-house IT team.
We're deliberately a small company. That means you speak to the engineer, you get an answer the same day, and nobody is reading from a script.
People buy from people, so here's who you'd be calling.
Olu Collins Babalola
Founder & Technical Director
Olu has spent more than ten years in IT support and infrastructure, most of it in enterprise environments where downtime is measured and mistakes are expensive. His day-to-day work has covered Microsoft 365 administration, endpoint and device management, technical troubleshooting and end-user support at scale.
He holds an MSc in Cyber Security, which shapes how every system is built here: secure defaults first, convenience second, and an honest explanation of the trade-off where the two conflict.
He founded Data Directory Solutions to give smaller organisations access to that same level of care — and because he genuinely enjoys the moment a problem someone has lived with for months finally goes away.
Mission and vision, without the poster language.
Our mission
To provide reliable, secure and fairly priced technology support that lets businesses and households get on with their work — without needing to understand what's happening underneath.
Our vision
To become the technology partner that organisations across London and Essex recommend to each other, known for straight answers, careful work and security taken seriously by default.
Five commitments we'll hold ourselves to.
These aren't values on a wall. They're the things you can hold us to on any job, and the reasons to send us away if we fall short.
We'll tell you when not to spend money
If a repair isn't worth it, or a cheaper option would do, you'll hear that before you hear a quote.
We'll explain it in language you can repeat
Whatever we do gets summarised in terms you could pass to a colleague, a trustee or a family member.
We'll leave it more secure than we found it
Every job includes a look at the security of what we touched, at no extra charge.
We'll write down what we did
You own your systems, your passwords and your documentation — not us. Handovers are part of the job.
We'll quote before we start
The number agreed at the beginning is the number on the invoice, unless you approve a change in writing.
We'll treat a home visit like a business job
Same standard of work, same courtesy, same explanation — whether it's a care home network or a family laptop.
The organisations we're built for.
Small enough to need help, big enough that an outage costs real money.
Care home technology support.
Care homes run on shared laptops, agency staff, patchy Wi-Fi and systems holding sensitive resident data — usually with no IT support at all. It's a sector most providers overlook, and one where getting the basics right matters more than most.
